As per Notification 9/2025, micronutrients, which are covered under serial number 1(g) of schedule 1, part (a) of the fertilizer control order, 1985 and are manufactured by the manufacturers which are registered under the fertilizer control order, 1985 classified under HSN 28 or 38 attracts 5% GST effective 22 September 2025. On an intra-state supply this is charged as 2.5% CGST plus 2.5% SGST; on an inter-state supply the full 5% is charged as IGST.
