Companies Act 2013 Calculators

Statute-referenced calculators for Indian companies — depreciation under Schedule II, CSR under Section 135 read with Section 198, and dividend under Section 123. Every figure is shown in Indian-grouped rupees with a workings table you can audit.

Why these three calculations trip people up

The Companies Act, 2013 does not give depreciation rates — it gives useful lives, so the WDV rate has to be derived as 1 − (residual ÷ cost)^(1 ÷ life). CSR is 2% of Section 198 net profit, not the profit-and-loss or income-tax figure. Dividend under Section 123 needs depreciation provided first and profits actually available. These tools apply each rule automatically.
